Kucinich Files 35 Articles of Impeachment Against President Bush"Congressman Kucinich's initiation of this process is neither fanciful nor futile, neither vengeful nor vindictive; it is the sober fulfillment of his sworn duty as a Congressman to follow the law....It is, quite simply, an act of patriotism."
On Monday, June 9, Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) filed a resolution in the U.S. House of Representatives calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush. The resolution lists 35 separate Articles of Impeachment. Documentation to support each of these Articles is expected to be posted today (Tuesday, June 10). Elizabeth de la Vega, a former federal prosecutor and author of United States v. George W. Bush et. al., made this statement when Kuchinich's Articles of Impeachment were introduced in the House of Representatives:
